Lavanya Venkateswaran, DDS

Lavanya Venkateswaran is a board certified pediatric dentist. She received her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Virginia (Go Hoos!) and went on to dental school at Columbia University, where she graduated in the top 1% of her class. She pursued her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital, and also did a unique fellowship in special needs dentistry at Helen Hayes Hospital. Dr. Lavanya loves her profession and passionately believes that oral wellness is fundamental to overall wellness. She loves treating her young patients and thinks it’s important to foster good dental health and good dental habits at an early age. She is gentle and friendly by nature and believes that visits to the dentists can be a positive experience for both for the parents and children.
Dr. Lavanya is married, and has three young boys. She loves traveling, baking, running, and is an avid student of dance and vocal music. She looks forward to meeting you and helping take care of your little one’s smile!
